Baltimore, Maryland - March 07, 2014: The reading ramp is a colorful place meant for children and parents to congregate and read. The Henderson-Hopkins school houses the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Early Childhood Center, where the reading ramp resides. The facility is a private Pre-K center, but available to members of the community. It is slated to open in July.
Henderson-Hopkins is a K-8 community school in East Baltimore. The school's library, gymnasium, auditorium, Early Childhood Center, and family resource center are open to the surrounding community. The school is funded through a partnership with Baltimore City, Johns Hopkins and the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation.
