The meet was held at North County High School Tuesday, February 23, 2010. All Kuper had to do was not get pinned, and the Gators would win, but because he lost by a technical fall, La Plata earned five points, effectively tying the match. The Gators won the title by out-pinning La Plata with three to La Plata's two.
