(staff photo by Matt Roth)..The 1943 BMW R75 is BMW's first and only military motorcycle. A G.I. brought this one used by the Nazi's in the Afrika Korps home after World War II and restored it. Henig, not one to normally buy restored motorcylces, bought it from the man's son, almost 50 years later, after building up a fair amount of patina. The side car has been embellished with a fake machine gun.
