North East, Maryland - March 01, 2016: A rider and horse gallop next to an SUV full of reporters driven by "Mad Genius" horse trainer Michael W Dickinson during a press tour of s new horse training facilities in North East, Md., Tuesday March 1st, 2016. The track is lined with the artificial turf he and his wife developed.
His sprawling 250 acre facility, which accommodates up to 40 horses, is competing with the free stalls at race tracks, but he hopes his clients see the care and quality of his training as an investment. Dickinson says his training facility is "not a holiday camp. This is a serious training camp."
"Mad Genius" horse trainer Michael W Dickinson came out of retirement to open a new performance center at Tapeta Farms in North East, Md.
