(staff photo by Matt Roth)..Edith Schultz, from Halethorpe, spent most of her adult life celebrating Veterans Day with her husband Dick Schultz. It doubles as their anniversary. Dick, a World War II veteran, passed away two years ago, on 9/11, of all days. Veterans Day, 2009, Edith visits her husband's grave at Loudon Park Cemetary and erects a small American flag. She brings another flag for her father's grave. .Like many elderly in the southern Baltimore County area, Edith is planning to sell her home, and auction most of her belongings, including many of her husband's paintings. She needs the money so she can move into Charlestown, the mega-retirement community in Catonsville. Many of her friends already live there.
