The Cromwell Valley Park sponsored their second "Spend a Day with Draft Horses" of the year Saturday August 20, 2005. The goal of the program, which is in its third year, is to illustrate how these huge creatures (average weight 2100 lbs.) live, as well as a way to introduce people to the "art of plowing and driving" draft horses.
