Trayvon Martin, 17, who was unarmed, carrying only a bag of Skittles and iced tea, was shot after an altercation by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman, 28, who pursued Trayvon on foot after being told not to by 911 dispatchers. Zimmerman has yet to be arrested because of Florida's controversial Stand Your Ground Law.
