Baltimore, Maryland - August 13, 2015: Brent Whitaker M.S., D.V.M., 57, from Freeland, MD, is Vice President of Biological Programs for the National Aquarium in Baltimore. He was the first full time veterinarian in a major aquarium. When asked if the job culture has changed since he entered the labor market, he says the aquarium has placed a "greater emphasis on guest satisfaction, {but primarily} on animal welfare and health. ... The Aquarium's becoming more of a conservation based initiative."
