PGC Weekend Camp Retreat

Edgewater, Maryland - April 12, 2014: DeMetris Henry, middle, from ACCE High School reacts to one of his classmates' descriptions of him during the "Color Wheel" group affirmation exercise. Last weekend students from ACCE & MERVO high schools attended a Peer Group Connection camp retreat at Camp Letts in Edgeville, MD. The way the exercise works is students assign their peers to a circle on a "Color Wheel" worksheet and color it in a way they think represents them. Afterwards, the group sits in a circle and explain their color choices while the individual sits quietly and isn't allowed to respond.
