Distance markers of other famous Micronations are painted on a sign post in Molossia. Distance is measured in Nortons -- an homage to Emperor Norton of San Fransisco -- which is the roughly seven inches, or the length of President Baugh's hand. Royal Nortons, however, are equivalent to one mile. The sign was made before Baugh developed the Molossian system of measurement.
The Republic of Molossia is a tiny micronation run by fifty-one-year-old President Kevin Baugh an his family. The micronation is surrounded by Dayton, Nevada.
