Seth Goldstein: retiree tinkerer

Bethesda, Maryland - January 28, 2015: Instead of miniaturizing blood catheters, retired NIH mechanical engineer Seth Goldstein makes kinetic sculpture robots. "Why Knot" ties a neck tie. "Ro-Bow" plays the violin. Goldstein credits his wife for the names. "Cram Guy," currently on display at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore, is a crazy animated scene of a robot who crams for a test and then nods oft sleep.
