Washington, D.C. - June 15, 2019: Catherine and Isabella Luhn, 10 and 8, participate in the “Scandal Scavenger Hunt,” searching for clues in the Watergate Hotel’s infamous “Scandal suite,” Saturday June 15, 2019. The idea is to let the children play detective while their parents enjoy a few minutes of adult time at the hotel’s Kingbird restaurant. For desert, the whole family gets free ice cream sundaes, reputed to have been the former presidents favorite dessert.
The Watergate Hotel’s restaurant Kingbird offers patron’s children “The Scandal Scavenger Hunt,” in the famous Scandal Suite, where burglars hired by former president Nixon spied on the Democratic National Convention’s offices.
