To clench the 2010 county championship she hit her second homerun of the game against Howard in the eighth inning. She plays volleyball with equal veracity. Next year the seventeen-year-old won't have to decide which one to focus on, she will play both for Grove City (Pa.) College. She is photographed at Glenelg High School Tuesday, June 1, 2010.

  • (staff photo by Matt Roth)..Ryan Raines likes his clothes to fit. So, after trying on a size medium Ray Rice jersey -- which fit -- at the Sports Shop, his family (Karen, mom, left, and Gregory, dad, right) advise him to buy a large. After graduating from Atholton High School this year, he will play football for Marist College on scholarship, so some bulking up is inevitable. Ryan's jersey was purchased courtesy of the Towson Town Center's TGI Friday's as part of his Make A Wish Foundation Shopping Spree Thursday, April 29, 2010.

The Atholton senior, who survived Hodgkin's lymphoma, was granted a shopping spree from the Make A Wish Foundation at Towson Town Center Mall Thursday, April 29, 2010.
