  • (photo by Matt Roth)..I was really pissed about missing my flight from BWI to TPA on my way to Geekfest 2009. ...but if forced to find the good in every scenario, I got to make some really cool shots late afternoon and night time shots from my plane window. A lightning storm punches through the black sky, over the Tampa night life, awash with lights. The Geekfest weekend in St. Petersburg, Florida Thursday, September 10, 2009.

  • (staff photo by Matt Roth)..***This would make a great cover photo!!!***.A long camera exposure blurs members of The Golden Eagles, likening them to flames as they burst onto the the newly refurbished George Kendrick football field for the first game atop the newly sodded field, taking a big win on the field's inaugural game against the Urbana 11-13 year-old rec team, 34-14, behind Arbutus Middle School Friday night September 22, 2006. After a two-and-a-half year struggle, the field is finished and will be home to the Arbutus Big Red, the local semi-pro football team.
